Mail from Jay

Hi Everyone!
Sorry to take so long, I thought the group was very quiet, then finally go through my spam today to find a whole pile of messages in there!
Anyway, my name's Jay Lynch, I'm from Melbourne, in Australia. I spent a lot of time in Japan in the past, where I met Hiro, but am in Beijing at the moment, operating an IT outsourcing firm I founded with an old friend from China.

I have an education in very formal CS, so a strong interest in programming and computers in general, so I tend to be very hands-on. Unfortunately work lately has been gradually pushing toward more of a business and planning focus but equally comfortable in either 'world' so to speak.

Whilst outsourcing is our main source of income I'm personally more interesting in working toward launching new and interesting web and online services, and see great opportunities in small-to-medium business oriented IT services in the Chinese domestic market, which I'd like to push into.

I've probably rambled enough but thanks for the invitation to join in, looks like an interesting group and I hope we can all learn something and perhaps even get some interesting projects happening!
Nice to meet you all,

Jay
