Mail from Shimizu to Vince

Dear Vince,

Thanks for your interesting mail.

>One of the more recent ideas has been to combine IT services and financial services to provide solutions for small businesses in asian countries.

I think that's very interesting and very you because you're interested in IT and finance both.
And it would be a big help for me, too!
The other day when I talked with Jay, listed in CC in this mail, we talked about ERP (The log is here :
http://internationalbmr.blogspot.com/2008/03/chat-log-between-jay-and-shimizu.html ).
In my understanding, it's a set of several softwares to manage companies condition like accounting, resources and so on.
It seems trendy to visualise complex information in companies and to utilise it for accelerating their decision-making-speed. :-)

>I think the combination of these services can provide a good foundation for smaller, often family owned and operated businesses that could use some advice to help their business become more successful.

Yeah, your perspective is wider than me, I think you look at and analyse business from the outside every time we talk about business.
I think that's because you work as a consultant and an accountant usually.

>I also am in full support of create a platform for an SNS that create a new culture bringing friends from around the world together in a new way.

Oh yeah, that's one of my goals, but I'm not prepared for it, yet.
So far I think at first I want to organise my basic principles (what happiness and friendship is, why I do business and so on),
practice real business especially in travel industry instead of web service, and find what good webservice for international friendship is.

>One of the things that prevents me now is experience. I believe I must get a little more experience and understanding of business.

Oh really, do you think you don't keep getting experience of business?
I think you're getting it in the company you're working for now. Do you mean the business experience as the one to start up your own business?

>I also think that I need to meet and discuss these ideas with more people to get better feedback and find others who have the same goals.

I see, I also hope I can talk with more people in foreign countries with the same goal, and seek for my answer of what service is good for international exchange.

Regards,
Hiro Shimizu
